About Dr. C.C. Anyanwueze

For Dr. C.C. Anyanwueze, developing and discipling young people is not simply a ministry assignment. It is a calling that has followed him for most of his life.

Born and raised in Nigeria by his late father, Nzewure Agu, and his mother, Beatrice Anyanwueze-Agu, Dr. Anyanwueze began teaching the Word of God at just twelve years old. By sixteen, he had received training as a child evangelist, beginning a journey that would eventually span continents, cultures, churches, classrooms, youth ministry, apologetics, leadership, and hospital rooms.

Through those years, one concern has remained at the heart of his work: How do we prepare the next generation to develop an enduring faith, discover their purpose, lead with character, and make a meaningful difference in their world?

Discipled and mentored as a young preacher with a passion for revival, Dr. Anyanwueze became increasingly concerned as he observed young people, particularly in the Western world, drift away from the church as they entered college and encountered competing worldviews. His desire to understand and respond thoughtfully to the intellectual challenges facing Christianity led him to pursue a PhD in Theology and Apologetics at Liberty University, where his research focused on one of Christianity’s most difficult intellectual and existential questions: the problem of evil and suffering.

But his understanding of life and faith has not been shaped by the classroom alone.

As an Anglican priest and youth pastor, he teaches Scripture, mentors and disciples young people, and works with families navigating the challenges of contemporary culture. As a Board Certified Hospital Chaplain, he walks alongside people through some of life’s most difficult moments—illness, uncertainty, grief, fear, suffering, and questions for which easy answers are often inadequate.

These experiences across theology, apologetics, pastoral ministry, youth development, mentoring, and spiritual care have strengthened his conviction that young people must be prepared not only to believe well, but also to think critically, live purposefully, lead responsibly, and serve meaningfully.

Dr. Anyanwueze is the founder and President of Impact Global Organization, an initiative committed to developing the next generation through mentorship, character formation, leadership development, faith, and purposeful engagement with society. He is also the founder and host of Your Question, a Christian worldview and apologetics platform that explores serious questions about God, truth, meaning, morality, science, suffering, spirituality, and reality.

He is the author of the discipleship curriculum, IMPACT: 52 Conversations That Will Shape Your Faith and Your Future, created to help young people develop a faith that is personal, informed, and enduring.

His larger vision is to see a generation of young people equipped to discover their purpose, develop their potential, lead with character, serve their communities, and become positive agents of change in the world.

For Dr. Anyanwueze, that means developing the whole person—faith, character, intellect, leadership, and purpose—and preparing the next generation not merely to succeed, but to make their lives count.

Beyond his ministry and professional work, Dr. Anyanwueze is happily married to Dr. Ihuoma Anyanwueze, and together they are blessed with four children.
